Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. - Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance and extend system lifespan.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and refrigerant line repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs for compliance purposes.
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to during all field service activities; operate equipment safely and responsibly.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to support overall building operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
- Proven service technician experience with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques relevant to HVAC applications.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Field service experience in property maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in boiler operation or mechanic work is advantageous.
