We are looking for an experienced ground crew team electrical installation leader to work full time leading a team to install commercial electric vehicle charging stations and commercial solar electric systems, primarily in New York State, with some regional remote work in Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Massachusetts (potentially New Jersey).
Master Electrician/Journeyman Electrician strongly preferred, but not required. If hired candidate is not currently a Master Electrician/Journeyman Electrician, then Company would highly encourage participation in apprenticeship program, with a path towards Master Electrician license.
Extensive site work/concrete work/equipment pad/excavation/trenching experience is a must.
Extensive electrical experience is a must. Candidate must be confident and competent in all phases of commercial electrical site work, to include trenching, preparation for and installation of equipment pads, electrical vaults, transformer pads and oil catchment basins, and the operation and maintenance of various types of site work equipment, to include excavator, skid steer, and lull.
Our work focus is predominantly commercial; however, in this position, the team leader will need to be flexible, and potentially manage residential EV Charging Station and solar electric installations, when needed.

Who can work with team members to play a key role in executing our plans

- utility company representatives to coordinate new services and/or service upgrades
- building inspectors to coordinate permitting requirements (paperwork handled by office manager)
- electrical inspectors to close out jobs

- company leadership to keep them informed of daily progress on projects
- customers to manage expectations
- Who is able to read and understand single-line drawings, spec sheets, and installation manuals
- Who has the experience to complete take-offs per those drawings and specs
- Who can create practical, organized action plans and schedules
- Who can efficiently procure, organize and schedule materials, manpower, and rental equipment
- Who can provide company leadership team with consistent, timely project updates and photo documentation
- Who can work with other team members, and proactively communicate daily with our Senior Project Manager/Foreman
- Who can take as-built photos and documentation and upload them to online workdrive
- Who is comfortable with or able and willing to learn and implement online tools, simple mobile apps, participate in remote meetings, and remain attentive to electronic messaging
- Who is willing to suggest improvements and process changes working toward greater efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Applicant must be in excellent physical condition, willing to work long hours, travel to job sites with overnight stays as necessary, and should be prepared to offer professional and character references.
Strong work ethic, Leadership ethos, proactive communication style, and ability to work well with others is critical for this role.
