We’re not looking for someone to swap out names on Canva templates. We’re looking for an original thinker—someone who understands design as visual strategy, not decoration. This role requires concept development, custom design work, and visual storytelling that aligns with our brand identity and mission.
Who Should Apply:
•Designers who can work from a blank canvas—Adobe, Figma, or otherwise
•Creatives who treat templates as inspiration, not a crutch
•Individuals who understand brand cohesion, hierarchy, typography, and negative space
Those who can explain the why
behind their design choices, not just the what*
Who Should Not Apply:
•Designers who rely heavily on Canva templates or pre-built designs
•Those who cannot show a portfolio of original concept work
•People who avoid custom illustration, typography, or layout development
Your Work Will Include:
•Developing brand-new concepts for marketing campaigns, pitch decks, proposals, and digital media
•Creating bespoke visuals that reflect unique project needs—never generic stock-style graphics
•Collaborating on visual strategy, not just visual production
•YouTube Long-Form Thumbnails (27/month, 3 options per video)
•Shorts Thumbnails (30/month across YouTube, IG, TikTok, FB, LinkedIn)
•Instagram Carousels (8/month)
•Social Media Posting (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
•Manual or scheduled publishing
•Hashtag, caption, and alt-text formatting
•Visual quality control across platforms
•Follow 4-week content backlog plan
One-Time Project Deliverables

•Win Big Bids Journal (1)
•12-Week Program Workbook Series (12)
•Masterclass Workbook Series (8)
As-Needed Design Support

•Promotional Merchandise (T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hats, Mugs, Totes)
Core Tools YOU Should Know:
1. Adobe Illustrator (Required)
•For vector graphics, logos, illustrations, icons
•The industry standard for precision, scalability, and professional work
2. Adobe Photoshop (Required)
•For photo editing, layout manipulation, and advanced compositing
•Especially useful for marketing, web banners, and social content
3. Adobe InDesign (Strongly Preferred)
•For multi-page layouts like reports, pitch decks, proposals, eBooks
•Ideal if you’re doing government proposals, corporate decks, or branded assets
4. Figma or Adobe XD (Preferred for Digital UI Work)
•For interactive prototypes, web and mobile layouts
•If you’re developing anything that touches websites or apps, this is key
5. Google Slides / PowerPoint (Bonus)
•To translate designs into editable presentation formats when needed
•Should not be the primary design tool, but strong designers know how to adapt designs for client use
⸻
Tools That Alone Signal Inexperience (Red Flags if They’re Primary Tools):
•Canva (Only okay for quick mockups or client collaboration, not original design work)
•VistaCreate / Adobe Express / Over (template-heavy beginner platforms)
•Microsoft Publisher (outdated, rarely used professionally)
⸻
Optional But Impressive Skills:
•Procreate (for hand-drawn illustrations on iPad)
•After Effects (for motion graphics or video intros)
•Cinema 4D / Blender (for 3D visuals, if relevant)
•Midjourney or other AI image tools (if they use them as concepting tools—not substitutes)
