Geotechnical Construction Professional (Laborer / Technician to Superintendent)
GeoSpecialties is a Kentucky-based geotechnical construction and consulting firm focused on solving real-world problems related to ground stability, infrastructure safety, and land development. We specialize in landslide remediation, earth retention systems, foundation support, and construction site stabilization. Our projects span rural hillsides, urban slopes, and everywhere in between.

We're hiring for multiple roles within our field operations team—from entry-level Laborers and Technicians to experienced Foremen and Superintendents. All positions involve outdoor, hands-on work in geotechnical construction projects across Kentucky and neighboring states. This is a boots-on-the-ground opportunity to make a direct impact in a highly specialized field.
Support installation of geotechnical systems: soil nails, rock anchors, shotcrete, sheet piles, etc.
Operate hand tools, small equipment, and safety gear in varied site conditions.
Perform survey layout, grade checks, and quality control tasks.
Follow safety protocols and site-specific instructions with precision.
Manage small field crews and daily jobsite execution.
Communicate effectively with engineers, inspectors, and project managers.
Oversee multiple jobs or complex sites with a focus on production, safety, and logistics.
Schedule crews, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with clients and engineers.
Lead quality control, change management, and troubleshooting in the field.
Mentor field staff and contribute to process improvements.
Strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work outdoors.
Construction or geotechnical field experience preferred, but not required for entry-level roles.
Ability to travel to job sites within Kentucky and nearby states.
OSHA 10 or 30 preferred. CDL, NCCCO, or equipment certifications a plus.
Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in steep, uneven terrain.
