About This Job

General Laborer for Geotechnical / Environmental Firm

We are currently seeking an entry level General Laborer. This position is based out of our Clovis, CA office. This General Laborer position includes travel, as well as work within the surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

•

Required travel to work sites and company locations

•

Assisting crew as needed

•

Loading / Unloading work tools and equipment

•

Safe vehicle operation pulling a trailer

•

Oversee the transportation of materials to job sites

•

Conforms to all safety rules, requirements and proper use of all safety equipment

•

Reports all safety problems, incidents, accidents, or irregularities

•

Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

•

Must be willing and able to travel 70% of the time

•

Must be able to drive vehicle with trailer hitched

•

Must have regular and dependable attendance and punctuality

•

Have awareness of loss prevention techniques as they apply to field endeavors

•

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions

•

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

•

Mechanical abilities and/or aptitude

•

Must have the ability to operate calmly under pressure

•

Ability to follow instructions.

Requirements:

•

1+ years-experience as a Construction site Laborer

•

Must be insurable under company vehicle policy

•

Must be available to work overtime, flexible hours, and weekends as required

•

Must be available to travel overnight as required (up to 4 nights per week)

•

Excellent communication skills

•

Ability to stand for long periods of time

•

Ability to work outdoors under varying temperatures and weather conditions

•

Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 75 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

•

8 hour shift

•

Monday to Friday

•

Overtime

•

Weekends as needed

Willingness to travel:

•
75% (Required)

Work Location: In person
