Job Responsibilities:

- Works without risk or harm to self or others

- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures.

- Driving to and from drill site to collect core samples

- Preparing core samples

- Preparing samples for dispatch

- Ability to safely operate both on and off-road vehicles in hilly terrain in a mine environment.

- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

- Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards.

Requirements:

- Experience working in a core shed, preferred

- The individual should demonstrate a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills

- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout the day

- Forklift experience, preferred

- Previous experience working near a drill site, preferred

- Previous mining experience, preferred

- Ability to work independently and also as a member of a team

- Underground MSHA is preferred

- Requires a valid driver's license
