At 7 Compression, we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our MidCon region. eadership position is responsible for managing all service-related issues, leading a team of area managers, and ensuring top-tier customer service. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in service delivery and customer communication, as well as managing the P&L for their region.
This covers the following regions: Oklahoma, Kansas, & Arkansas*
What You’ll Do:
•Oversee Service Operations: Manage all service-related issues within the MidCon region, ensuring issues are addressed in real-time and operations run smoothly.
•Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of area managers and their respective teams, providing direction, support, and coaching.
•Customer Communication: Stay involved in key customer communications, ensuring relationships are strong, professional, and proactive.
•Sales Support: Assist with sales calls, client presentations, and provide input on customer development strategies as needed.
•Excellence in Customer Service: Ensure service teams meet or exceed expectations in customer satisfaction, responding to feedback and addressing concerns promptly.
•Employee Development: Oversee employee training, including safety and technical training, and support the ongoing development of your team members.
•P&L Responsibility: Manage the P&L for the MidCon region, ensuring budget adherence and cost control while driving profitability.
•Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
•Proven experience in a service management or operations role within a similar industry.
•Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in customer interactions.
•Ability to manage and resolve real-time service issues while maintaining a focus on long-term growth.
•Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial oversight.
•Commitment to employee and safety training, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
•Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term business relationships.
