About the Role:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team in Denver and Cheyenne. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in fire protection systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Qualifications:
•+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
+ Strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
+ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards common goals.
+ Proven track record of effectively managing service operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
+ Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building client relationships.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and service management software.
+ Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes, such as NFPA and local building codes.
+ Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
+ Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Responsibilities:
•+ Lead and mentor a team of fire service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
+ Manage the scheduling and assignment of service calls, preventive maintenance tasks, and installations to optimize efficiency and meet customer expectations.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service metrics to assess departmental performance and implement strategies for improvement.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly to foster long-term partnerships.
+ Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling opportunities and expand our service offerings to existing clients.
+ Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for service operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
+ Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations of team members, providing feedback and coaching to support their professional development.
+ Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions and maintain compliance.
+ Serve as a liaison between field technicians, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Implement safety protocols and procedures to promote a culture of safety and mitigate risks in the workplace.
