Checon, LLC, a division of Alloy Holdings, LLC is currently recruiting for General Manager at our Kersey, PA location. This person will report to the COO of Checon MAC/PAC.
We are seeking a strategic and engaged General manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the PAC business unit of Checon LLL, improving the overall effectiveness of the team with process improvements and meeting organizational objectives and policies.

•Drive accountability and measurable results by improving KPI tracking and resource planning
•Develop flexible staffing solutions through cross training, redundancy planning, process controls and SOP creation.
•Driving leader in change management and lean implementation
Essential Job Duties:
•Ensure operation activities are in compliance with safety and environmental policies
•Support a safety driven culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses
•Ensure the achievement of financial goals by meeting or exceeding budget expectations
•Coordinate activities to obtain optimal operation efficiency aligning with business goals and objectives
•Oversee production planning to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained following LDM practices and daily Gemba walks
•Ownership of all operation costs including direct/indirect labor, benefits, MRO and raw material and efficiency that are tracked and reported monthly
•Achieve or exceed LTIR of <.5 & TRIR <2
•Achieve or exceed OTD of 95% with less than .5% customer error rate reported monthly
•Get personally involved with all special and overdue orders in plant.
•Review poor quality/rejected products, develop & implement improved programs related to quality in conjunction with the quality organization.
•Work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure developed processes are being strictly adhered to by the team and work to improve/adjust when applicable
•Directly supervise operations team including setting goals, evaluations, hiring and termination
•Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.
Qualifications/Requirements:
•BS in manufacturing management or business-related field
•Experience in manufacturing/operations of 8+ years in progressive roles
•Strong leadership skills with an in-depth understanding of production and operational needs
•Six Sigma and LDM training
•Advanced experience with Microsoft Office 365
•Experience with Manufacturing ERP systems
•Well organized individual who has an ability to multitask with a high attention to detail
•Ability to work with a diverse team both at the plant level and with senior management
•Customer service driven, able to understand and support business goals and objectives.
Physical Requirements/Safety:
•Must be able to move freely throughout plant and office
•Must be able to lift mildly weighted objects (no more than 40 pounds)
•Must be able to handle the stress of everyday activity as well as that associated with heightened levels of operations, customer demands, and budgetary compliance demands
