General Labourer - Weld Shop

Description:

Our company is currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and hard-working individual to fill the position of General Labourer in our Weld Shop. As a General Labourer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to work on a variety of different tasks to help create high efficiency in our shop.

Responsibilities:

- Cross train on different roles within the shop and perform various tasks as needed

- Organize all incoming hardware and inventory so they are readily accessible to the team

- Monitor shop/welding supplies and complete internal requisitions when required

- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to conduct inspections of products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications

- Drive the forklift to assist with deliveries and shipments

- Packing orders for both internal and external deliveries

- Deliver packages/parts to Vendors as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in the fabrication/manufacturing industry

- Able to drive a forklift

- Ability to Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

- Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to multi-task

- Able to communicate effectively with team members and understand instructions, and follow directions

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team

- Physical stamina and ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
