Max Fluid Power is a Rocky Mountain–based pressure pumping company specializing in frac, pump-down, and acidizing operations. We operate with experienced crews, modern equipment, and a strong safety-first culture. We are looking for proven professionals—not entry-level applicants—who can perform in demanding frac environments.
Experience Required – This Is Not an Entry-Level Position
This position requires prior oilfield, frac, or heavy-equipment experience. Applicants without relevant mechanical or electronic field experience will not be considered.
We are hiring Frac Mechanics and Electronic Technicians (E-Techs) to support active frac operations. These roles require advanced troubleshooting skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong understanding of frac equipment and live operations.
This is physically demanding shift work with long hours in all weather conditions.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain frac pumps, blenders, engines, transmissions, and support equipment
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting during live frac operations
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
- Minimize downtime through efficient repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
- Follow all safety, LOTO, and company procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and control systems on frac equipment
- Support data van operations, sensors, controls, and communication systems
- Diagnose electrical issues during live pumping operations
- Maintain organized wiring, labeling, and documentation
- Ensure electronic systems meet operational and safety standards
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
- Rotating day and night shifts
- Long hours during hitch
- Outdoor work in extreme weather conditions
- Fast-paced, high-pressure environment
