Responsibilities:
•Prepare and distribute relevant, timely and accurate reporting of NOV Digital Services’ financial results to business managers and leadership at multiple intervals (including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and preliminary reviews)
•Review, analyze and report on key financial metrics and detailed results, including but not limited to: revenues and base margins by area, business and product line; operating profit and EBITDA by area and business; expense by major category, by area and business; operational trends of the aforementioned; balance sheet metrics such as DSO, inventory turns, working capital and Return on Capital Employed (ROCE).
•Lead and coordinate the periodic forecast reporting inputs into HFM Planning by the business and finance
•Prepare periodic Corporate reporting and analysis including but not limited to: monthly forecast, quarterly financial results and bridge commentary, and mid-year planning, working closely with NOV Digital Services management team on presentation and analysis
•Lead and coordinate the preparation and completion of the Mid-Year and Annual Operating Plan and related schedules and analysis
•Maintain NOV Digital Services’ business structure in HFM including cost centers and groupings
•Oversee inventory balance detail and obsolescence reporting
•Reply in a timely manner to multiple ad-hoc requests for information by various parties
•Maintain working knowledge of financial information systems, performance and capabilities with a total commitment to continual system improvement
•Contribute to overall company and division strategies and goals
•Complete special financial analysis projects as required
•Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements:
•3-5 Years of experience in financial analysis or senior- or manager-level general ledger accounting role
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent of education and experience
•Knowledge and proficiency with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SmartView, and database applications (MS Access) are strongly preferred
•Above average proficiency and speed/nimbleness in Excel
•Willing to travel up to 10%
