Forklift Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient and safe movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move materials throughout the warehouse.

- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement and organization of products.

- Perform order picking tasks, utilizing a warehouse management system to track inventory.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.

- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products as needed, adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution and material handling.

- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers.

- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.

- Basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
