Forklift Operator

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Safety is the most important part of all jobs. Comply with all company and OSHA safety procedures, attend safety meetings and participate in company safety programs. Wear & use required personal protective equipment. Report hazardous conditions to the employer / supervisor. Report any job-related injury or illness to employer and seek treatment promptly. Stay aware of possible hazards. Maintain clean & organized work/staging areas. Perform daily inspections on equipment and report any defects or repairs needed to supervisor or maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

- Ability to follow instructions

- Can lift 50-70lbs regularly

- Must Be forklift certified

- Willing to be subject to outside elements/weather.

- Observe and follow safety procedures always meeting company policy and procedures

- Maintain an organized workstation and be efficient with materials

- Assist in areas as needed

- Needs to be self-motivated

- Must be willing to learn and be trained

Preferred Qualifications

- Heavy equipment operations preferred.

- Flexible to work overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to work 12 hr shifts 5 days/week plus occasional Saturdays. Weekend only shifts also available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
