Location: Northern AZ: Kingman (Mohave County), Chloride, and Hackberry. This position requires regular travel to these multiple quarry sites.
We are seeking a Foreman II to join our team in Northern Arizona. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is dedicated to meeting production goals while actively developing their supervisory skills. You will be responsible for leading a small crew in daily rock crushing operations, ensuring safety, and maintaining high standards of quality. The successful candidate must be willing to travel regularly between multiple quarry sites. This position offers a clear path for growth and provides mentorship to help you become a more independent and effective leader.
As a Foreman II, you will be a key part of our operations, primarily focused on achieving production targets while receiving support in managing personnel and equipment.
- Supervise a crew of laborers in the daily operations of rock crushing sites.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment, including loaders, haul trucks, and crushers.
- Oversee blasting activities, following established safety protocols and procedures.
- Meet production quotas for blasted and processed rock with guidance from a supervisor for complex adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Provide direct supervision, assigning tasks, and ensuring all crew members understand their roles and procedures.
- Assist in training new crew members on operational tasks, safety protocols, and equipment use.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to your crew, with the support of a supervisor for more complex performance issues.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
- Ensure all processed rock meets specific size and quality requirements.
- Conduct independent quality checks and identify potential issues, reporting any deviations to your supervisor.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and identify potential hazards on the job site.
- Ensure your crew is properly trained and equipped with the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Respond to safety incidents according to established procedures, seeking supervisor support when necessary.
- Communicate clearly with superiors, providing daily updates on progress, production rates, and safety concerns.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to ensure timely repairs.
- Complete daily or weekly reports documenting production activities and any incidents.
- Proven ability to meet production targets and operate heavy machinery.

Foreman 02 effectively meets production targets but is developing their leadership and personnel management skills. They require some support in complex production adjustments, advanced performance management, and handling complex safety situations.
- Production & Operations: Supervises a labor crew, ensures safe and efficient equipment operation, oversees blasting, achieves production quotas (but may need guidance on complex adjustments), and maintains a clean work area.
- Crew Leadership & Development: Provides direct supervision, assigns tasks, trains new members (with some guidance), conducts performance evaluations (but may seek advice on complex issues), and fosters a positive work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensures quality standards are met, conducts independent checks, and reports quality issues.
- Safety: Implements and enforces safety regulations, identifies hazards, ensures PPE usage, and responds to incidents (may need support in complex situations).
- Communication & Reporting: Maintains clear communication with superiors, reports equipment malfunctions, and completes reports.
- Additional Responsibilities: May perform manual labor, assists with record-keeping, and continuously develops skills, focusing on leadership and production adjustments.
