Founded in 1979, Latva Machine is an AS9100 precision CNC machining company which produces some of the metal working industry’s most demanding and challenging products. We supply precision machined components to the Aerospace, Military, High Vacuum, and other High-Tech Industries.

Position Overview: Ensure the manufacturing floor has the proper support to efficiently perform the daily activities, maintain high performance and produce quality parts while meeting schedule deadlines.

Qualifications:

•

Thorough and complete knowledge of CNC Machining on complex Milled and Turned components.

•

Experience with hard to machine metals such as Titanium, Inconel, Molybdenum, etc.

•

Strong leadership skills

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

•

Have the ability to handle sensitive, confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated professionalism, tact and diplomacy

•

Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. Effective decision-making abilities are a must

•

A professional demeanor and appearance

Responsibilities:

•

Provide constant leadership, guidance and direction to all personnel.

•

Effectively communicate with all other departments in the company.

•

Empower machinists and operators by including them, listening to their ideas/recommendations, implement changes and follow through on sustainability.

•

Optimize pivotal communication between shop employees and management.

•

Develop and enforce policies/programs for short and long-term goals.

•

Ensure quality conformance of parts cohesively with the Quality department.

•

Empower machinists and operators.

•

Manage employee relations when interpersonal challenges arise.

•

Additional operational duties in addition to special projects and work assignments to meet customer demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
