Fleet Mechanic (1 year experience req.)

The Barn's landscape division is looking for a Fleet Mechanic to service our trucks and equipment. Primary job duties include performing preventative maintenance services along with inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of all trucks, equipment, small engines and trailers. Keeping accurate records of services and repairs. Completing certified DOT commercial motor vehicle inspections on trucks. Maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

Summary

As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Superintendent, you will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your premium skills in heavy equipment operation and fabrication will enhance our fleet's efficiency.
