Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles, including pick-up trucks, vans and trailers. This role requires strong automotive diagnostics skills, the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Fleet Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet operations.
Duties
•Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
•Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
•Solder electrical connections as required for repairs.
•Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
•Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
•Proven experience as a mechanic.
•Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and practices.
•Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.
•Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Valid driver's license; additional certifications related to automotive repair are a plus.
