Work Hours/Schedule:

20-40 hours per week (Part Time/Full Time). Schedule will depend on intern's school schedule. Full-Time or Part-Time

Under close supervision, Automotive Interns will be provided with a hands-on experience on how to manage a large fleet of vehicles and equipment. This internship position is in the Fleet and Warehousing Operations Division of SCV Water, which operates three warehouses and maintains approximately 250+ vehicles and equipment. Interns will assist SCV Water staff in the management of the agency’s fleet by performing various duties.

The agency needs additional help to maintain the fleet. Automotive interns can assist the agency by performing simple maintenance tasks, write up vehicle defects, and perform vehicles inspections. Completing these tasks will give the intern hands on experience and it will help the agency improve its maintenance compliance rate.
