POSITION OVERVIEW
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing product shipping operations from our warehouses to customers in alignment with our company's quality, service, safety, and cost objectives. This key leadership role manages our driver team and delivery fleet working closely with routing logistics, and dispatch operations to ensure optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Strategically plan and supervise product shipments from production/warehouse facilities to customers
•Implement and maintain effective tracking systems for order management
•Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure proper product storage and distribution
•Monitor, analyze, and optimize transportation costs and operational efficiency
•Lead investigations to resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively
•Manage maintenance schedules and repair needs for transportation fleet and equipment
•Research and implement cost-effective shipping methods and logistics solutions
•Conduct regular safety training and audits for drivers, equipment, and vehicles
•Maintain comprehensive records of fleet assets, delivery schedules, and completed orders
•Ensure full compliance with company policies, NTSB regulations, and DOT requirements
•Recruit, hire, and develop transportation personnel
Qualifications:
•Demonstrated leadership experience in transportation or logistics management
•Unwavering commitment to safety excellence and regulatory compliance

•Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members
•Experience working with cross-functional teams and effectively managing high-pressure situations
•Exceptional organizational and time management skills
•Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift heavy items (occasionally up to 30 lbs.) and work in a physically demanding environment.
•Comfortable working in an office and warehouse setting, which may include exposure to temperature variations and industrial equipment.
•Fleet management will include climbing into and out of trucks
