Savanna is looking for a driven and experienced Field Superintendent to lead our rig operations in Lacombe, AB. Our preferred candidate must be local to this area.

What you'll do:
•
Lead and Supervise Rig Managers and field crews for an assigned area
•
Ensure all rigs meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards
•
Conduct rig inspections and oversee equipment maintenance and re-certifications
•
Partner with HSE, HR, Crew Coordination, and other departments to support staffing, training, and incident investigations
•
Manage logistics, permits, and rig moves
•
Serve as the key liaison between field teams and operations management
•
Other duties as needed
What we are looking for:
•
Must have service rig experience, 10+ years of oilfield experience
•
Proven leadership and supervisory skills
•
Strong technical understanding of rig systems (hydraulics, electrical, mechanical)
•
Valid certifications (e.g. H2S Alive, SRA, etc)
•
Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours (e.g. rotational on-call weekends)
•
Willingness to travel regularly out of town in remote areas to support rig operations
