As a Field Service IT Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that business needs across the Field Service organization are met through effective coordination with IT service groups. You will handle device lifecycle activities, be responsible for mobile asset logistics, and facilitate communication between business partners and IT teams. This role is business-focused and does not involve technical troubleshooting. Operating from Orlando, you’ll help streamline operations and improve service delivery through proactive planning and team member engagement.
- Coordinate device refreshes and deployments by aligning business schedules with IT availability, minimizing operational disruptions. - Facilitate procurement and logistics for computing devices and mobile assets, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation. - Serve as the primary liaison between Field Service teams and IT groups to communicate business requirements and track service fulfillment. - Maintain and update process documentation and user guides; identify gaps and collaborate with partners to develop new resources. - Supervise mobile hotspot inventory and usage tracking, coordinating with internal teams for reassignment and corrections. - Organize and lead regular meetings with IT and business partners to review feedback, upcoming needs, and process improvements. Provide exemplary customer service by advising, assisting, raising concerns appropriately, and ensuring thorough follow-up with internal partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field, or Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in business or service operations, logistics, or IT service coordination, preferred. - Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities across departments. - Familiarity with asset tracking systems and enterprise communication tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, EnergyNow). - Proactive mentality with a focus on stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and operational efficiency. - Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
