THE JOB
Hy-Tech is adding a Field Scheduler to our growing team. The role includes building a schedule by assigning employees to each job site, arranging travel to and from sites, and responding to emergency staffing needs that occur outside of normal work hours. We are looking to add an ambitious, well-rounded individual to carry out the following key responsibilities:
•Build Schedule following established procedures and client requirements.
•Work with the Contracts Manager to accommodate contract change requests by the Client.
•Monitor training compliance, and contact employees if training is not complete.
•Collaborate with HR and assist the Field Scheduling Manager to forecast crew needs, ensuring an adequate number of staff are available to meet contract requirements.
•Work with the Travel Coordinator to meet contract travel needs. Work with Clients for onsite accommodations and travel as required.
•Review and distribute Crew Info Sheets to the drill crew, Crew Change email distribution group and the client to ensure all parties are aware of crew movement.
•Follow Global Mobility Process when scheduling employees internationally.
•Manage last-minute staffing changes in the evenings and on weekends.
•Complete site-specific reports as requested by the client.
•Collaborate with Operations and utilize internal employee records to provide Foreman with a candidate profile to ensure successful integration.

THE SETTING
This position is based out of the Branch Location in Saskatoon, SK. Office work environment with some travel required.
THE SCHEDULE
Standard working hours are 8am–5pm Monday to Friday. There will also be requirements to be available after hours and on weekends.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
•2 years of experience in a scheduling or logistics focused role.
•Ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities.
•Maintain high-quality standards and be a positive ambassador for Hy-Tech.
•Work independently and as part of a team, developing strong relationships.
•Perceive the bigger picture, tailoring your actions to achieve strategic objectives.
•Must have a valid driver’s licence and provide a current drivers abstract annually.
