We specialize in both residential and commercial installations. With a commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability, we’re growing fast - and looking for a reliable, experienced, and driven Field Director to lead our field operations and report to our c-suite executives.
We are seeking a hands-on and knowledgeable Field Director to oversee our solar installation teams across Southern California. This role will be responsible for supervising field crews, managing project schedules, conducting site visits, ensuring job-site safety, and maintaining installation quality across all projects.
- Supervise and manage multiple residential and commercial solar installation teams in the field
- Schedule and coordinate installation projects to meet deadlines and efficiency targets
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality assurance and safety compliance
- Act as a direct liaison between field crews and project managers/office staff
- Train and enforce safety protocols related to ladder use, fall protection, electrical work, and job-site hazards
- Review and interpret solar blueprints and electrical schematics
- Ensure teams are compliant with OSHA 30 standards and internal safety procedures
- Support ongoing improvements to field operations and crew performance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solar installation (residential and/or commercial)
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in the solar or construction industry
- Strong understanding of solar installation methods, materials, tools, and safety procedures
- Experience with job-site hazard identification and risk mitigation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to job sites across the Los Angeles area
- Experience with safety training and crew development
