We are seeking motivated and dynamic Solar Consultants to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity for entry-level candidates and experienced sales professionals alike. You will start as an appointment setter with a 50/50 commission split and have the ability to self-promote to a full-commission closer once you feel ready. - Entry-Level Appointment Setter: 50/50 commission split with a closer.
- Self-Promotion to Closer: Keep 100% of commissions once ready to take full ownership of deals.
- Training Incentive: Earn $50-$100 per kW for observing a live set-and-close deal during training. To qualify, you must be actively engaged—showing up consistently, attempting to pitch, and making a genuine effort to go solo within the first 30 days.

- Average system size: 8 kW
- Redline at $2.40 per watt
- Total commission: $600 per kW ($4,800 total)
- Entry-level 50/50 split: $2,400 each (setter and closer)

- Conduct door-to-door outreach to identify potential customers interested in solar energy solutions.
- Engage with homeowners to educate them on the benefits of solar energy and how it can reduce their energy costs.
- Utilize technical sales skills to present tailored solar solutions based on individual customer needs.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through closing, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients while maintaining company standards and policies.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless transitions from sale to installation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Utilize software tools for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting sales activities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to new team members as needed.
- No prior solar experience required; sales experience is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation*- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required; ability to communicate clearly in English is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with software tools for managing customer relationships and tracking sales performance.
