Position Summary
The Field Coordinator will assist in commissioning & startup activities, project procurement, control and scheduling. Ensure project scope, meeting minutes, job safety, quality assurance and change order requests are in compliance with contract documents. Monitoring, controlling, and updating project schedules, owner contracts and construction contracts.
•Ability to build and maintain effective and professional working relationships with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
•Implement assigned duties with an exceptional level of accuracy, timeliness and cost effectiveness
•Ensure all project estimates are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the project. Become familiar with each estimate to fully support its integrity
•Negotiate and prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, and change order requests
•Monitor the financial responsibility and past performance of subcontractors prior to award of any subcontracts prior to award of any subcontract. Conduct subcontractor pre-award checklist
•Review the subcontract pre-billing worksheet and monthly progress payment request: and monitor payment receipts and disbursements.
•Monitor all outstanding owner change orders and change order requests
•Control job cost, information and analysis
•Prepare monthly project forecast, cost reports and construction billing forecasts
•Assure all project activities and closeout efforts are executed after proper planning has been done to conform to standards and specifications
•Supervise, mentor and perform regular performance evaluations for all employees assigned to this position
•Work side by side with employees in the field as needed
•Effectively communicate, in detail the project with managers, construction personnel and customers in accordance with company policy

Requirements:
•Full-Time salary position requiring 40+ hrs. a week
•High School Diploma/GED Certification
•Associates degree in business administration, communications, or related education
•4+ yrs. Project Management experience
•6+ yrs. equivalent related work experience
•Proficient in applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
•Prove ability to provide visionary strategic leadership; experience guiding the implementation of a strategic plan, measuring progress, and adapting as necessary
•Ability to work alone or within a group
•Self-driven to completion of job
•Must have a strong commitment to personal and team safety
•Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
•Effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the team, customers, and external contacts., via telephone, in written form, email, and in person
•Ability to learn company specific applications
•Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
•Excellent customer service skills
•Familiarity in the renewable and fossil fuel energy sectors is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements

•Ability to sustain a level of physical activity, including walking, climbing, bending, and sitting

•Perform work in remote field settings and exposure to extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments
•Valid active driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle
•Ability to pass all random DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing
