Overview:
A successful candidate will focus on ensuring the highest reliability and performance of the field network and management of centralized technologies.
Responsibilities:
•Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority.
•Assist field network and enterprise network teams as needed for secure, performant, reliable, and efficient end-to-end network services for ICS, Automation, Drilling, and any other critical business unit network services.
•Deeply engage with business units to ensure deadlines and objectives are well understood and met.
•Assist with field network project lifecycle including initiating, planning, budgeting, executing, procurement, documentation, closing, and continuous improvement.
•Coordinate asset and inventory management for field network infrastructure.
•Set and achieve goals necessary for the optimization of field network focusing on people, processes and technology.
•Model a strong work ethic and take the lead on a variety of initiatives. Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing business requirements.
Qualifications:
•College graduate in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field preferred; Equivalent work experience pertaining to information technologies and / or telecommunications may be acceptable.
•Relevant work experience (e.g. NOC, data analytics, customer service, telecom industry, tech industry, RF / Wireless, Networking, Fiber Optic cabling, etc.).
•Information Systems and Network experience.
•Ability to remotely troubleshoot communication issues between SCADA System and End Devices.
•Ability to remotely troubleshoot communication issues on core network infrastructure.
•Cyber security troubleshooting.
•Ability to troubleshoot OPC and applications.
•Strong pattern recognition skills/good at interpreting data and graphs.
•Strong English communication skills.
•Thorough understanding and use of Microsoft Office Suite.
