# Field Account Executive — Automotive Fastening Solutions
Picture a week where you split your time between the road and the office: you’re visiting OEM and Tier suppliers, gathering new application needs, and following up with precise quotes. Back at your desk, you’re negotiating pricing, sending product information and samples, and coordinating closely with our Rocknel factory team to shepherd new launches through to mass production—solving questions on delivery, quality, and technical details along the way.
- Drive outside sales through in-person meetings, phone calls, mail, and email to respond to customer requests.
- Prepare and deliver quotations; provide product information and samples as needed.
- Identify emerging customer requirements and surface new product opportunities.
- Partner with customers and the Rocknel factory from new product launch timing through mass production to ensure smooth transitions.
- Address inquiries on pricing, delivery dates, quality, and technical matters; collaborate with factory teams to resolve issues.
- Communicate routinely with our head office in Japan to align on customer needs and production plans.
- 2–5 years of experience working within a Japanese company environment.
- Preferred: outside sales background in the automotive and fastener sectors; familiarity with the automotive industry is a plus.
- Strong reliability, work ethic, and the ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
- Clear, effective verbal communication skills.
- Japanese conversational ability preferred (not required).
- Capacity to switch quickly between tasks with minimal errors or omissions.
- Commitment to following all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
