Fence & Concrete Installation Specialist

Job Summary

First Cut Design & Fabrication is seeking a fence and concrete installation specialist to join our team. We specialize in turnkey solutions for the natural gas transmission and distribution – from design, fabrication and installation. This job involves travel and working at multiple job sites, often requiring overnight travel. All work must be done in compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fence installation, concrete work, and is comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers.

Duties

- Install various types of fencing (residential, commercial, agricultural)

- Perform concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing for fence posts and related projects

- Safely operate company trucks and haul trailers to and from job sites

- Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company’s values on-site

- Work independently as a self-starter and complete tasks efficiently without constant supervision

- Travel as required for projects (overnight travel may be necessary)

- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition

- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements

- Proven experience in fence installation and concrete work

- Ability to pass employment drug screening and ongoing random tests

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

- Ability to safely drive trucks and pull trailers

- Willingness and ability to travel as needed (up to 75%)

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage time effectively

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Ability to travel overnight and work at different sites throughout NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, KY.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
