Duties

- Measure and mark fence lines accurately according to project specifications

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and install fencing materials

- Dig post holes using manual or powered equipment, ensuring proper depth and alignment

- Frame and construct fence panels using carpentry skills such as framing, masonry, and concrete forming techniques

- Secure fencing components with nails, screws, brackets, or welding to ensure stability and durability

- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood panels, metal posts, concrete blocks, or landscaping elements

- Maintain safety protocols on-site by inspecting tools and equipment regularly and adhering to OSHA standards

- Assist with landscape maintenance or hardscape projects as needed to support overall site completion

Experience

- Minumum of five years experience

- Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with a focus on fencing installation or related trades

- Skilled in frame carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, or concrete forming techniques

- Familiarity with welding processes for metal fence components or structural reinforcement

- Comfortable using hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, grinders), and heavy machinery for site preparation

- Prior work on construction sites involving landscape maintenance or hardscape installation.

- Knowledge of masonry techniques applicable to fence posts or decorative elements

- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working at various heights in outdoor environments

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
