What does a Facility Siting Coordinator do for us?
They lead Idaho Power's electrical facility siting and acquisition processes for new and upgrade of existing electrical transmission, distribution line, and substation facilities throughout the company's service territory. They are responsible for local government permitting and compliance associated with new facility siting. They serve as a public relations figure within the community and with state and local governments and agencies regarding the facility siting and planning process. They ensure the timely and cost-effective siting of facilities while balancing the needs of both the company and the community.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This require working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
