- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and diagnose issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Install new equipment and systems, including electrical wiring and mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including logs of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine inspection of Central Plant equipment such as chillers and boilers.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment safely and effectively.
- Work closely with different departments and vendors for shared success.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Order and maintain spare parts inventory as needed.
- Continue training and growth in the position.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical technology preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance role with trade background in one or more disciplines HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing.- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction environment with working at heights above 30’ on a lift.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand or walk for extended periods, and work in elevated areas or confined spaces.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Fast-paced industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and occasionally hazardous materials.
