Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various industrial equipment. This role requires hands-on experience as well as the ability to analyze mechanical systems. The Industrial Mechanic will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our machinery and ensuring that all equipment meets safety and performance standards.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.

- Troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

- Work with hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.

- Assist in the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

- Check guards on all machines and repair as necessary

- Check belts, bearings, etc and adjust or replace as necessary

- Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery

- Must be able to work overtime when required

- Maintain area and keep it neat and organized

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years’ experience working on heavy machinery

- Ability to read and use technical and repair manuals

- Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in both mechanical and hydraulic equipment

- Ability to use and read precision measurement tools

- Excellent manual dexterity

- Use of appropriate PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Clothing as Directed)

- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
