WPPI Energy seeks an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as Facilities and Safety Manager. This role is critical to ensure the efficient operation of WPPI Energy’s Sun Prairie headquarters and the safety of employees across our service footprint. - Oversee daily operations and upkeep of headquarters building, equipment and grounds, including supervision of maintenance person and management of vendors and contractors.
- Plan, schedule, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Manage space planning, office layouts, renovations, and relocations.
- Prepare and manage facilities and maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal safety requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in collaboration with safety committee members and third-party consultants.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, lead root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Ensure and oversee delivery of safety training programs for WPPI’s approximately 125 office, remote, and field employees.
- Minimum of five years of experience in facilities operations and/or safety management, with at least two years in a supervisory or management role preferred.
- Degree or certification in occupational health and safety, facilities management, engineering, or similar field. Equivalent experience and training will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Starting salary range: $90,000 to $110,000, based on experience.
