Fabrication Lead – 2nd Shift
Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am
Overall Responsibility: Supervise participate in operational activities related to fabrication. We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, forklift operation, and mechanical knowledge.
Key Job Duties:
•Ability to program laser, press brake and turret equipment using CAD/CAM software.
•Ability to train fabrication production employees on machinery operation and processes / procedures.
•Participate in personnel staffing and review activities.
•Coordinate flow of parts processing through fabrication and on to paint or weld.
•Participate in schedule / status meetings and update based on priorities and deadlines.
•Maximize / manage material utilization and material needs.
•Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, square, protractor, etc.
•Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
•Make necessary adjustments to CAD/CAM software for efficient operation of laser, press brake and turret equipment.
•Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
•Follow company policy and standards.
•Keep work centers clean and orderly.
•Use job data (PO, FPL) to generate material requirements.
•Troubleshoot issue on production laser, brake and turret.
Required Skills and Experience:
•5+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience.
•3+ years CAD/CAM experience using any of the following: SigmaNEST, Radan, Ncell, Dr. ABE, Metamation, etc.
•Solid understanding of MS Excel.
•3+ years press brake operation experience.
•2+ years laser operation experience.
Desired Qualities and Attributes:
•Experience working and functioning in a supervisory role.
•Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
•Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
•Strong blue-print reading skills with attention to detail.
•Is safety minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions.
•Experience with Solid Works 3D.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour + $3.00 per hour shift differential
