We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Exploration Project Geologist to join our growing team in British Columbia. The successful candidate will take a lead role in the planning and execution of mineral exploration programs with a strong focus on diamond drilling. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key contributor to advanced-stage exploration projects in a dynamic, field-based environment.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute diamond drilling programs, including supervision of drill crews, contractors, and field staff
- Oversee and participate in daily geological logging, sampling, and QA/QC protocols
- Maintain and manage geoscientific data in Leapfrog Geo and other modeling platforms
- Conduct core interpretation, structural analysis, and contribute to geological modeling
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior technical staff and project managers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- B.Sc. in Geology (minimum); M.Sc. considered an asset
- Registered (or eligible for registration) as a P.Geo. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) required.
- 1–3 years of relevant exploration management experience, including managing diamond drilling programs and supervising field staff
- Proficiency in Leapfrog Geo for 3D geological modeling
- Strong knowledge of geologic logging, sampling, and QA/QC procedures
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Willingness to work in remote field locations on a rotational basis (e.g., 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out)
- Eligible to work in Canada (does not require sponsorship)
