The Nunavut Exploration group has been exploring Nunavuts’ vast landscape for over a decade. The group is responsible for the development of Nunavuts’ properties and operates in an exceptional geological environment, conducive to world-class discoveries. The groups’ mission is to contribute to the renewal of our regional production by working the best discovery opportunities on the territory. Reporting to the Exploration General Supervisor, the Exploration Coordinator is part of the Exploration team and works on all our exploration activities on the Hope Bay Project, Nunavut. The incumbent will play an important role in managing the Exploration team and programs, supervising and participating in drill hole planning, geological interpretation and 3D modelling, exploration target generation, core logging/sampling, contribute to overall geological knowledge, they will ensure compliance with QA/QC protocols and prepare reports. They will ensure that objectives are met in accordance with Agnico Eagle’s culture, health & safety and environment standards.
