Responsible for the design, delivery and execution of orientation and education programs. Includes delivery of programs as well as participation in content design. Also responsible for facilitation of computer-based educational initiatives. The Learning Specialist will support the new hire process and work closely with recruiting. Learning Specialist will deliver classes in different locations as necessary.

Seeks feedback from customers to understand and improve orientation and other education programs
Uses appropriate and timely communication to provide follow-up to customers after orientation as well as other education programs
Provides behavioral feedback on learners’ performance during or after the learning experience
Stays current with trends in areas of responsibility
Completes specific developmental tasks as assigned by the Education Manager
Develops tracking systems that will streamline Education processes and procedures
Uses knowledge of company operations to ensure alignment of educational materials
Converts key knowledge, skills and abilities into content that can be understood and applied by participants

Education: *Required: Two-year college degree in related field Preferred: Four-year college degree in related field
Experience: Required: At least 1 year up to and including 3 years of designing and facilitating training and working with subject matter experts; project management experience preferred; Retail experience is preferred; *Experience with eLearning authoring tools preferred
Language Skills: *Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a manner that is
sufficient for effective communication with groups of managers, clients,
customers and the general public.

* Ability to make decisions by using facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems.
* Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office.
