Job Summary:
As Strategy and Growth Analyst, you are responsible to support Hydro’s strategic direction in a high growth, dynamic business unit across the recycling value chain, and mature the identified projects through the entire execution timeline.
Required Education/Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in engineering or business required.
•Minimum of three years’ experience with strategic business growth activities and proven track record in executing projects through maturity.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
•Project Management (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
•Knowledge of the aluminum or metals industry is desirable.
•Ability to move projects from analysis to implementation.
•Competence in applying quantitative methods to business opportunities.
•Knowledge in data analytics is desirable
•Technical Acumen and project management skills.
•Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, knowledge of PowerBI and SAP is desirable.
•Strong communication and presentation skills.
•Ability to align stakeholders to a common goal.
•Ability to work independently and manage internal and external resources to deliver projects.
Job Responsibilities:
•Work with the Director of Business Development to identify new recycling growth opportunities across the entire value chain of the business unit.
•Participate in teams to pursue acquisition opportunities and support in performing detailed valuation analyses.
•Develop greenfield and brownfield investment opportunities in collaboration with the Business Development team
•Perform profitability analyses of recycling investment proposals.
•Prepare presentations and business cases for senior leadership.
•Assist in the execution of the identified opportunities through implementation.
•Act as project manager for assigned recycling growth projects, from identification to start-up.
