Carolina Heating Service, a NearU Company is now hiring for a General Manager. This role is on-site in Greenville, SC.

Position Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch. The fundamental responsibility of the General Manager is to improve efficiency and increase profits while managing the overall operations of the branch. This position will report to the Regional Vice President of Operation assigned to the branch.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
•Assume full operational responsibility and oversee day-to-day operations of the branch
•Drive financial (sales and EBITDA), operational and quality metrics to ensure that the branch achieves all performance metrics
•Maintain and execute daily, weekly and long-term work plans to achieve measurable outcomes and ensure goals are met and improvement is made when possible
•Drive change management strategies within the branch to implement efficient workflow and operating procedures to enhance branch performance/KPIs
•Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and other reports and conduct financial analysis to identify trends and prospective problem areas and take immediate action based on findings
•Maintain a working knowledge of competitors, developing innovations to maintain market lead and sharing best practices with other members of NearU
•Ensure compliance will all regulatory controls both internal and external at the branch, including but not limited to state licensing laws, rules and regulations
•Adhere to, support and administer established company policies, procedures and guidance
•Motivate, coach, develop and inspire a unified team within the branch; hold the team to a high standard and lead with clarity
•Review and promote the maintenance of a safe, accident free and healthy work environment
•Uphold and demonstrate NearU’s values, mission statement and culture alignment by fostering a working environment that promotes diversity, inclusion, and respect
•Partner with marketing, accounting, human resources and other members of the Branch Service Center

Qualifications:
•Minimum of 8 years of experience successfully leading a fast-paced service organization and a proven track record of growing a business; residential HVAC experience a plus
•Ability to prioritize, plan and adjust priorities and balance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
•Maintain a high level of professionalism, executive presence, demeanor, ethics and image of self and subordinates
•Ability to self-start and motivate a group of individuals to act as team towards a common goal
•Strong interpersonal/communication skills. (Oral and written)
•Analyze cost and forecast data to ensure alignment with the branch’s goals and objectives
•Excellent analytical skills, financial acumen, and attention to detail
•Support other NearU markets, as needed.
