Experienced Maintenance Craftsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Experienced Maintenance Craftsman to join our team, bringing expertise in various trades to create high-quality products and structures. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

- Scholastic and work records will be considered.

- Will be required to work on all phases of plant maintenance.

- Hydraulics and Electrical and pneumatic controls.

- Repair and replacement of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment.

- Pipe fitting (new and repair)

- Welding.

- Lift truck maintenance and repair.

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits (including the ability to read blueprints and schematics).

- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure tools and materials are properly stored.

- Must be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.

- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of various materials, tools, and techniques relevant to the craft.

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints or schematics.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job assignments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.41 - $26.41 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
