Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary

We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused Operator to join our recycling team. This position involves operating wheel loaders, excavators, skid steers, and other equipment to keep daily operations running smoothly. The right candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to safety, and helps wherever needed to keep the yard moving efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate wheel loaders, excavators, and skid steers.

- Perform daily equipment checks, greasing, and basic maintenance.

- Load, move, and handle recyclable materials according to instructions.

- Assist with general yard and facility tasks as needed to support operations.

- Follow all safety procedures and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.

- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (wheel loaders, excavators, skid steers).

- Recycling, waste, or construction experience preferred.

- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.

- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.

- Reliable and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Pay: $25.50 - $30.00 per hour
