We are currently seeking an individual for the

Excavator/Heavy Equipment Operator

position at our quarry in

Fayetteville, Arkansas

. The successful candidate for this position will have experience operating an excavator and other heavy machinery with an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Job Responsibilities

- Operate an excavator with a high degree of competency, skill and proficiency in challenging and unique terrain environments.

- Run other types of heavy equipment as needed such as front loaders, dozers, haul trucks, etc.

- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management

- Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.

- Effective communication skills applicable to position.

- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.

- Properly follow all company policies MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

- Assist with other duties at the discretion of management.


Qualifications

- Previous experience operating large dozers, excavators, or similar heavy machinery preferred.

- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

- Ability to learn new tasks quickly.

- Pass pre-employment drug screen.

- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.

- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
