The Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA) is seeking an Events Coordinator. Primary responsibilities will include all tasks related to event planning and execution for Contractor University, OPTIMUS and partner related events, increasing event participation through outreach and coordinated marketing efforts, daily reporting and data entry, maintaining the Contractor University speakers’ site, providing phone and email support for Event Services and ensuring all events are successful. This position reports directly to the Director of Events.
• Assist with all aspects of event planning and execution, including administrative tasks
• Lead preliminary event planning calls for partner-related events
• Schedule speakers for events and/or video studio shoots
• Responsible for daily event reporting and data entry
• Assist with event invoicing and expense report submissions
• Responsible for Event Services phone and email support
• Provide event registrants and sponsors with excellent customer service
• Ensure all events run smoothly and are successful
• 2 years of related experience is required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be extremely thorough and detail oriented
• Experience using Zoom Meeting and Webinar is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Monday.com is a plus
