We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.
This position will conceptualize development, test enhancements, maintain data, and report on the results within the electric transmission workflows managed within ET Planning Digital Ecosystem. The ecosystem includes the following systems/aspects:
use data engineering concepts to build data pipelines between key systems to visualization tools like Power Bl.
In addition, these user interfaces will need enhancements and alignments with new tools used by Planners and Modelers, and new tools in development by partner teams in Electric Transmission. This position will use business engagement practices and processes to help confirm data and test platforms/workflows and tools to ensure that releases are ready for production with quality assurance after go-live. This position will use our business processes to support the transmission capital project feasibility and project development requirements for planners and modelers to pursue measuring alignment with automation and reporting. Finally, planning and modeling engineers need support writing and/or integrating tools withing workflow UIs related to the use Siemens PSSE, PowerWorld, ETAP, ASPEN, and other industry power flow and modeling software and toolsets required to continue to support production efforts as versions change and needs change with PJM for compliance with FERC and NERC standards as both our load and generation are expected to double in the next 10-15 years.
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
Business Technology Analyst II: 2-3+ years of directly related experience.
Business Technology Analyst III: 5-6+ years of directly related experience.
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
