Job Summary Description:
Our IT department is seeking a knowledgeable and resourceful ERP System Analyst to lead support efforts for our Acumatica ERP platform. This in-office role, located in The Woodlands, Texas, is responsible for ensuring system stability, resolving complex issues, and working closely with both end-users and implementation teams. The ERP System Analyst will report directly to the Senior Sr. Manager of Business Systems and the CIO.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
•Administer day-to-day operations of the Acumatica ERP platform, including user roles, permissions, and workflows.
•Configure system settings, templates, and custom fields to meet evolving business needs.
•Collaborate with department leads to gather requirements and implement solutions within Acumatica.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system usage, reports, and data inconsistencies.
•Develop and maintain dashboards and inquiries for operational insights.
•Coordinate with external Acumatica partners for escalated support or customization needs.
•Document standard operating procedures and training materials.
•Assist with system testing, updates, and upgrades, including validation and rollout.
•Provide advanced technical and functional support for Acumatica ERP modules (Finance, Projects, Manufacturing, etc.).
•Investigate, diagnose, and resolve user-reported ERP issues in a timely and professional manner.
•Lead problem resolution efforts involving cross-functional teams and third-party vendors as needed.
•Serve as a subject matter expert for Acumatica-related upgrades, customizations, and enhancements.
•Document recurring issues and implement proactive solutions to reduce future incidents.
•Train and mentor junior support staff, providing guidance on troubleshooting and best practices.
•Work directly with business units to ensure proper system use and data accuracy.
•Collaborate with the development and infrastructure teams for deeper issue resolution and performance optimization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
•5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, with 3+ years specifically in Acumatica ERP.
•In-depth knowledge of Acumatica modules: Financials, Projects, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing and others.
•Proven experience with troubleshooting customizations, third-party integrations, and Acumatica automation workflows (business events, import/export scenarios).
•Acumatica certification(s) preferred.
•Understanding of relational databases (SQL Server) and basic querying.
•Strong documentation and communication skills.
•Ability to manage priorities and multitask effectively under pressure.
