Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Project Manager to oversee and drive engineering projects from conception through implementation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

•

Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

•

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve project objectives.

•

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

•

Utilize SharePoint for documentation management and project tracking.

•

Implement IT project management best practices to enhance project efficiency.

•

Coordinate vendor management activities to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

•

Oversee quality management processes to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

•

Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and partners as necessary.

•

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and issues.

•

Utilize systems such as Workday and Salesforce for effective project tracking and reporting.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in program management or IT project management within an engineering context.

•

Strong knowledge of project implementation methodologies and best practices.

•

Familiarity with SharePoint for collaboration and documentation purposes.

•

Experience in vendor management, including negotiation skills.

•

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•

Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.

•

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder engagement.

•

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

•

A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
