Engineering & Innovation Research Intern

LPS Engineering Services (LPS-E), the consulting division of Littoral Power Systems, is hiring a curious and driven Engineering & Innovation Research Intern to support cutting-edge projects at the water-energy nexus. This role combines technical modeling (AI/ML + physics-based) with light-touch client support and outreach.
What You’ll Do:
•
Work on modeling, simulations, and data analysis for hydropower and marine energy
•
Use tools like Delft3D, FLOW3D, MATLAB, Python
•
Help create technical materials, dashboards, and client presentations
Who You Are:
•
Engineering undergrad/grad (ME, CE, EE, Ocean, Applied Physics, etc.)
•
Strong communicator with technical and analytical skills
•
Bonus if you’ve got experience in AI/ML, CAD, or SCADA systems
