Project Description
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on mechatronics intern to support the development of our first Developmental Instrumentation Pressure Vessel (PV), which will serve as a key component in monitoring the health and performance of the power generation taking place within our Nodes. This project will be highly cross-functional – requiring close collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to design, assemble, and validate a prototype that integrates a suite of sensors into the Node’s structure and associated electronics inside a pressure-rated vessel.

This project offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multidisciplinary design, test infrastructure development, and real-world system integration challenges in a fast-paced hardware development environment.

On-site, our offices, lab, shop, and manufacturing facilities are located in and near
Portland, Oregon. Due to the nature of working in a lab and production environment, this position requires consistent on-site work.
