Primary purpose:
Provide reservoir engineering assistance to Company’s Engineering & System Engineering team. Responsible for performing all engineering tasks in support of underground gas storage fields from the reservoir to the well head. Design and execute integrated reservoir studies, reserve and economic analyses, storage field expansion, and well remediation programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Execute day to day gas storage engineering efforts to ensure underground gas storage asset integrity and performance
•Lead efforts to champion gas storage engineering concerns by interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams both internal and external
•Ensure compliance with Tallgrass gas storage integrity management plan and API RP 1171 / DOT underground natural gas storage rules
•Produce and manage project budgets
•Strong customer focus in dealing with Project Management, Commercial Origination, Operations Control Center, Field Operations, Pipeline Scheduling, and other internal and external groups.
•Achieve zero-incident safety performance by strict adherence to all safety training, procedures, and risk management
•Develop oil and gas reserve estimates and future production schedules and design/implement efficient exploitation
•Participate in service availability evaluations and the implementation of advisories and operational flow orders.
•Regularly communicate with management regarding project status, goals and objectives.
•Interact with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
•Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
•Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
•Will work non-traditional hours as needed.

Minimum requirements :
•3+ years of experience working in E&P / Gas Storage
•Bachelor of Science in an Engineering or Geology discipline (Petroleum Engineering Preferred)
•Demonstrated high degree of familiarity with API 1171 and PHMSA Underground Natural Gas Storage Regulations preferred
•Experience developing / maintaining underground natural gas storage integrity management plans preferred
•Reservoir modeling experience preferred
•Demonstrated knowledge of reservoir fluid flow and reservoir modeling.
•Demonstrated experience with well construction and well maintenance including drilling, completion and work overs.
•Knowledge of basic open hole and cased hole log analysis.
•Knowledge of gas well flow test evaluation & transient analysis.
•A team player with proven communication skills, capable of working effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
•Excellent presentation and communication skills.
•Able to work with minimal supervision, and be driven to produce results at both an individual and team level.
•Proven track record in applying technology and generating value adding results.
•Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

•Experience with developing, managing and forecasting O&M and Capital budgets.

Working Conditions:
•Required to carry a cell phone, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
•The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
•Working after hours, nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $175,700-$213,200/yr.
